Machining Cameras

I am making shafts and mounting them to a USB Web camera,  it works great for positioning. The shaft is
anodized aluminum 6061.
Search the post for optical, edge finder, video window and you can get more info on the use of this.

I have several of these available and am asking $60 which includes shipping to the lower 48.  This incudes the shaft,
camera and the software that comes with the camera, and shipping.

I am going to make more after these are sold so PM me for your orders, it takes a week or so for the cameras to arrive.

I can do the shaft, anodized with set screws, 3 - 48 screw for mounting and shipping for $25

Yes I can,  I made one earlier for a guy.   I will have to make it from steel, aluminum doesn't have enough strength at that diameter.

Thanks for all the orders,  I think I am up to 15 or so. 

There are a few problems with the video window in Mach,  make sure you stop the video stream before closing or selecting OK, it will cause it to not be able to open the video window the second time unless you exit and restart Mach.

Here is another picture I took today.  The scale is showing 32's  which is 0.03125 on the scale between marks.  It is easy to get very close with this.

The camera I am selling with this is a color web cam but Mach only shows in B&W.

Very nice camera mount.

A couple of questions:

Are the cross-hairs a software construct?
How do you center/align the cross-hairs?  via software/the screws?
Do they drift often, ie do you have to repeat the alignment process often?
If I want one, do I just pay pal you/send you a PM?
